Dan “Chimy” Chmielinski is only in his mid-20s, but he’s become one of the most dependable bassists on the scene, having worked with everyone from Sammy Miller and the Congregation, Joey Alexander, and Bryan Carter to Wynton Marsalis, Eric Harland, and Jeff “Tain” Watts. Tonight he leads his jazz quartet alongside a string quartet in a “four by four” configuration. His superb jazz band is a guaranteed good show by itself, but the strings will really make it something unique and memorable. @chimyonthebass
