Family Program | Story Time by Design
Drop in at the museum on Friday morning for interactive stories, creative play, and design!
Join us for a lively story time and then put on your designer hat to explore design and sound in the Art of Noise exhibition. Children and their caretakers will look closely at a variety of listening devices and create their own handheld percussion instrument.
Story Time by Design engages early learners by inviting them to be active participants in the design process. Children will learn about the world around them through hands-on exploration of materials, functionality, design elements like color and shape, and more.
This program is recommended for children ages 2-6 years old and their adult guardian/caregivers. Family programs are included in the price of museum admission, and youth 18 and under are always free.
ACCESSIBILITY & WHAT TO EXPECT

Children and their adults will be seated on the gallery floor and will do the hands-on activity in the gallery. Gallery stools and cushions will be available.
