Join us for an afternoon exploring the creative legacy and inventive design process of graphic designer and artist Elaine Lustig Cohen (1927-2016), whose book covers and publications continue to exert a powerful influence on contemporary design. A behind-the-scenes tour led by curators Caitlin Condell, Head of Drawings, Prints & Graphic Design, and Julie Pastor, Curatorial Assistant, will explore Cohen’s lyrical wit and subtle midcentury style in the exceptional works gifted by the designer to the collection. Accompanying the tour, designer and curator Ellen Lupton will lead a design workshop inspired by Cohen’s pioneering work.

General Admission: $15
