K-12 Educators, kick off your summer with creativity and connection! Enjoy a free tour of our new exhibition Design Across Time led by curator Emily Orr, then stay for conversation with other educators. You’ll also get introduced to Design Skill Builders, a new collection of fun, ready– to-use activities that bring design thinking skills into any classroom and subject area. Come for inspiration, leave with ideas you’ll actually use.

Accessibility & What to Expect

    • Format: This is an informal, guided tour led by a Cooper Hewitt curator. Tours involve walking around the Museum and standing in galleries for extended periods of time. Standard manual wheelchairs, rollators, and portable stools are available for those who request them.  This will be followed by a brief discussion in the lecture room.
    • About this space: This program will take place in person on the first floor of Cooper Hewitt (2 East 91st Street, New York, NY). The gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. Read more about accessibility at Cooper Hewitt

Please make your accommodation request as far in advance as possible—preferably at least one week before the program date when possible.
