How might we empower the next generation to solve complex challenges in their communities? Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum will introduce educators and youth development organizations to design, design process, and design stories that serve as powerful tools to affect positive change. Participants will learn how to use the free resources that are available through Cooper Hewitt and the Smithsonian and explore strategies to engage youth in building critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills through a series of highly interactive activities. This summit also offers Bay-area educators and organizations the opportunity to connect, converse, and build a strong network.
Participants are invited to attend the Networking Reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. immediately following the Change by Design Summit.
This event is not affected by the government shutdown.
