About Clara Mae

Born in a small town in north Sweden, Clara grew up with music and sports all around her. She studied jazz vocals and piano, which ignited her passion for writing music and experimenting with melodies. Her practice eventually led to a publishing deal and she moved to Stockholm to work fulltime in music.  Early in her career, she got cowrites from some of the most dignified electronic artists—David Guetta & Tiesto. An introduction to Norwegian-based producer duo KREAM later led to a feature on their viral track “Taped Up Heart,” which has 90 million streams worldwide! Clara has since pivoted her focus to writing for herself, discovering the importance of her lyrics being used to tell her story. Clara set a promising tone last year with an emotional debut single as a solo artist, “I’m Not Her”, and is continuing to make a name for herself with an addictive sophomore single “I Forgot.” Clara’s music will continue to pay an ode to relatability as her career as a solo artist unfolds, revealing stories of love, lust, and everything in between.
