Join Cooper Hewitt and our Museum Mile neighbors for the 48th annual Museum Mile Festival. Festival attendees can walk Museum Mile on Fifth Avenue between 82nd Street and 110th Street while visiting eight of New York City’s finest cultural institutions, all of which are open to the public with free admission throughout the event.

- Art of Noise celebrates groundbreaking design that enhances and visualizes our musical experiences.
- Devon Turnbull: HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3 features a large scale, handmade, audio system by multi-disciplinary artist Devon Turnbull.
- Made in America: The Industrial Photography of Christopher Payne brings together more than 70 large-format photographs captured by Christopher Payne over a decade-long photographic journey to learn more about the craft of both industrial and artisanal making in the United States

About the Museum Mile Festival
The eight cultural partners participating in this long-standing collaboration are: The Metropolitan Museum of Art; Neue Galerie New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum; The Jewish Museum; Museum of the City of New York; El Museo del Barrio; and The Africa Center.
The celebration of art and culture will feature live programs, musical performances, exhibitions, and art-making activities for all ages. Please check each museum’s website to learn more about their programming.
