Discover the communicative power of type, image, color and layout in this week-long exposure to graphic design. Throughout the week, teens will explore printed and interactive visual communication examples in Cooper Hewitt’s collection, interact with working designers, and work on several design projects.
This FREE 5-session summer workshop will begin on Monday, July 9 and end on Friday, July 13. Sessions run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each afternoon. Students are required to attend all 5 sessions: Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm daily. Registration is open to rising 9th graders and current high school students in New York City.
