See Me at Cooper Hewitt

Programs are designed for visitors with dementia and their companions.  


Cooper Hewitt offers onsite and virtual tours to organizations serving individuals with dementia and their companions. Specially trained Design Guides facilitate engaging conversation about design processes, themes, and objects displayed in a current exhibition.  

Groups, organizations, and service providers can sign up for the See Me at Cooper Hewitt mailing list. Email CHAccess@si.edu or call 212-849-8384 to request a tour.  

See Me at the Smithosian

See Me at the Smithsonian is a free program that fosters connection and belonging for adults with dementia and their companions through discussions and reflections on museum objects. The Smithsonian’s virtual public programs are designed for individuals with dementia who are aging in place and their care partners.
