Join Cooper Hewitt for a special virtual edition of Morning at the Museum, a Smithsonian program that provides access to a museum for individuals with cognitive and sensory processing disabilities. This free, virtual program includes an introduction to the design process, online exploration of Cooper Hewitt’s collection, and brainstorming activities.
Participants have the option to build a 3-dimensional design using everyday materials from their home. Participation in all activities is possible with no materials, or you can use a paper and any writing tools to record your brainstorming ideas. Preparatory materials, including worksheets and a visual schedule, will be provided via email one week prior to the program date.
This program is free and for all ages. Pre-registration required. To register, email CHAccess@si.edu.
