Learn the basic components of a VR project with The Lab for Robotics Education and create your own scene using the Google VR SDK that you can view straight in your browser. Students will create a scene using pictures and can then view their VR scenes on their phone.

The class assumes no prior programming experience, and will only require a laptop, internet access, and a browser. If you do not have a laptop, we will provide one for you.

This free 1-session workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 18 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Programs are open to all New York City high school students.

DesignPrep is made possible by the generous support of the Altman Foundation, The Pinkerton Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The Richard and Jean Coyne Family Foundation, and the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation. This program is also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
