Robert Smith from Brooklyn’s Red Hook WIFI initiative shares how their mesh network helped the neighborhood recover from Superstorm Sandy. Dorn Cox, cofounder of Farm Hack, discusses the importance of designing open-source tools for a diversified and just farming system, and architect Laura Baird, from the international architecture firm OMA, describes the innovative urban water strategy OMA’s team designed for densely populated cities.
