Visitors with disabilities and their companions receive free admission to this program. Advanced registration requested.
Join us for a relaxed exploration of a featured exhibition, either in person or online. Discover Design programs offer time and space to slow down, look closely, and enjoy meaningful conversation about the objects and ideas on view. Programs for each exhibition are offered at least twice—once online and once in person. Each session highlights different objects and perspectives, so every program offers a fresh experience.
During in‑person programs, trained staff are available at select points within the exhibition to facilitate enriching experiences. They offer visual description, thoughtful conversation, guided close looking, and occasional touch objects that invite tactile exploration.
Virtual programs are similarly facilitated, with staff leading interactive online experiences that include live verbal description, discussion, and close looking adapted for remote participation.
Both formats are designed to support inclusive, engaging experiences for visitors who may want additional support learning about exhibition content. Staff trained in sighted guide are available for onsite programs.
Programs take place on varied days.
- In‑person programs: 4:00–5:30 p.m.
- Virtual programs: 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Visitors with disabilities receive free admission to in‑person programs with advanced registration. Virtual programs are free to attend with registration.
