How can you frame challenges in a way that helps students see problems in new ways in the classroom? An important and necessary part of the design process, defining the problem is often the most challenging step and is frequently taken on by the teacher. Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum invites K-12 educators to join a fun and interactive experience to explore various approaches to framing challenges.
This event is a part of the National Design Awards (NDA) series of programs. Teachers will have the opportunity to meet NDA winners, designers, and Cooper Hewitt educators.
Light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available at the Center for Astrophysics.
