K-12 educators will explore Cooper Hewitt’s free design resources, including professional development and school programs, and learn how design thinking can be used in teaching practice through a hands-on workshop with National Design Award winner MASS Design Group.

Space is limited for the hands-on workshops and registration is first come, first served. If registration for the hands-on workshops is full, K-12 educators are welcome to register for Option 3, which features free museum admission from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 18.

option 3: EXPLORE COOPER HEWITT ON YOUR OWN!

  • Free museum admission from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 18 for K-12 educators who have pre-registered.
  • Free museum admission includes: free design resources and a self-guided visit featuring Cooper Hewitt’s interactive Pen to explore new exhibitions such as Joris Laarman Lab: Design in the Digital Age, Making | Breaking: New Arrivals, Esperanza Spalding Selects, and Passion for the Exotic: Japonism.
  • NOTE: Pre-registration is REQUIRED for free museum admission for K-12 educators from 3:30pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 18.
