Clean drinking water is a necessity, yet we continue to contaminate and waste this valuable resource. This issue goes beyond the Flint water crisis as 780 million people lack safe drinking water worldwide. Water pollution affects our supply and is also detrimental to wildlife and our environment. Our design solution is H2GO, a mobile application in which the goal is for the character “Bubba” to collect all of the contaminants out of the water. We are targeting kids because they are the future bearers of our environmental problems. H2GO comes with an interactive game, educational quiz, and fun challenges, allowing kids to take hold of their future.
