On Display for the Holidays | A Design Workshop at Industry City

The season is here for magical holiday window displays that brighten up any street! What would you display in a storefront during the holidays? In this hands-on workshop for ages 5–12, participants will explore the basic principles and elements of design to create a festive and fun retail window display for an imaginary client. From color contrast to form and placement, we’ll take you through the ins-and-outs of making a display that stands out from the crowd this holiday season.
