Discover design Online: Made in America

Join us Wednesday, June 3 online to explore the Made in America exhibition.

Discover Design Online programs offer a space enjoy meaningful conversation about objects and ideas on view in the galleries. Staff lead an interactive online experience that includes live verbal description, discussion, and close looking adapted for remote participation. 

Programs are designed for visitors of all ages who may want additional support in learning about exhibition content. Verbal description and Closed Captions will be provided.  

This program is free of charge. ​Registration is required. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants.

ACCESSIBILITY AND WHAT TO EXPECT 

  • Format: This program is a guided conversation about exhibition objects and themes. Verbal description is provided for every object. Staff will provide an overview of the exhibition and facilitate discussion about select exhibition objects. 
  • About this space: This program will take place virtually on Zoom, hosted by Cooper Hewitt staff. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants. Closed captioning will be provided. Read more about accessibility at Cooper Hewitt. 
  • Accommodations:  Verbal description will be provided. A screen reader accessible version of the power point will be provided to registered participants.
