Serve as a Management Services Specialist responsible for three-fold duties:(a) Assist the Head of Operations in maintaining the day-today administration of the Museum and the Director’s Office, (b) perform administrative duties to support Museum staff in purchasing, travel, payroll, and other related duties and (c) serve as the Safety Specialist.

Summary of Duties:

• Participates in the planning and coordinating of the administrative and procedural functions of the Museum.
• Accomplishes a variety of tasks requiring knowledge of administrative principles, practices, methods, and techniques, as well as skill in integrating services provided with the general administration of the Department.
• Responsible for making purchases with department purchase credit card, ensuring that obligations and expenditures are in accordance with appropriate budget plans and purchasing and accounting procedures.
• Serves as the museum’s principal agent for all domestic and international travel for museum staff including the Director of the Museum.
• Assists with the safety program for staff, visitors, volunteers and manages the occupational health program for staff.
• Assists in advising Museum management and staff on accident and fire prevention, hazardous materials program (including waste removal), radiation safety program, asbestos monitoring, respiratory programs, and other related issue

Grade 9: $63,609 to $82,693
Grade 11: $76,961 to $100,044
