The top zone of the book cover contains a photograph of a person’s face, printed in red, cropped to emphasize the mouth. The bottom zone of the cover is printed in deep ivory. A soft red mark dominantes the center. Black lettering is written in a loop around the cover in a mix of handwriting and sans-serif letters: “a quick kiss of redemption & other stories / david means.”
