Front and back covers have black printed text against a pale yellow background. Front and back jacket leaves are white with black text. Front cover features black and white photoillustrations of several hard candies in cellophane wrappers. Printed in black, front cover bottom: hard / candy; front cover upper left, vertically: TENNESSEE WILLIAMS; on spine, vertically: hard candy TENNESSEE WILLIAMS. Smaller black printed text appears throughout the design. On the back jacket leaf, a printed synposis of an earlier book of short stories by Tennessee Williams appears; on back cover, a printed list of books by Williams. The front jacket leaf includes a printed description of the book.
