ABOUT THE SHOWCASE OF STUDENT PROJECTS ON MOBILITY

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum invites undergraduate and graduate–level university students to join the premier showcase of student projects in proposing design solutions reimagining the future of mobility.

All accepted entries will be on display in Cooper Hewitt’s Barbara and Morton Mandel Design Gallery between December 14, 2018-March 31, 2019. Accepted students will receive free admission to the Mobility Exhibition Symposium on the evening of February 25, 2019 and will present their ideas to a panel of experts on the morning of February 25, 2019.

THE DESIGN CHALLENGE

How might automation change the mobility of people, goods, and services?

This call for submissions of student work encourages designs that reimagine landscapes, streetscapes and the way people, goods, and services will move in a new age of connected and transformational mobility.
