Featured Image: Designed for travelers, the sewing machine was about ¾ the size of a regular machine. Lightweight and full-featured with a clamshell carrying case, its design was a three-way collaboration between Charles Harrision (USA), Ted Nishigami (Japan), and Kenneth Grange (UK), and received patents in each country. It was manufactured for Sears Roebuck & Company in Japan by Maruzen Sewing Machine Company.
