Internationally acclaimed Dutch artist and textile designer Claudy Jongstra of Studio Claudy Jongstra presents the in-depth knowledge she has gained from years of experimenting and working with products from the land, including dye plants and natural fibers. Jongstra, who is also artistic director of Farm of the World, strongly believes in the value of researching ancient knowledge of dye plants, propagating crops to restore biodiversity, working together to produce handmade pieces, and taking part in a local community from which her mission and work reach out globally.
