Celebrated jewelry designer Daniela Villegas discusses her inspiration and work. Raised in Mexico City and based in Los Angeles, Villegas is known for incorporating natural elements—feathers, wood, porcupine quills—into her luxurious, one-of-a-kind pieces, which often take the form of insects such as beetles, centipedes, and scorpions. Villegas recently collaborated on a runway line for Ferragamo, and her work is collected by Katy Perry, Emma Watson, and other style influencers. Villegas is joined in conversation with Michaela Dosamantes, editor, stylist and co-founder of Solar magazine.
