Glass Lab at Governors IslandGlassLab, the Corning Museum's live glass design program, features a team of expert glassmakers, who work alongside graphic designers included in Cooper-Hewitt's current exhibition, Graphic Design−Now in Production to create innovative pieces based on the designers' ideas, concepts, and sketches that reflect themes from the exhibition. The GlassLab program has provided acclaimed designers with the opportunity to experiment with glassmaking technology, and share with the public a firsthand view of the design and production process since 2007.
