Explore the “Magick” of contemporary materials in this hands-on workshop with Lauren Bowker, founder of the London-based fashion and accessory house TheUnseen. Bowker creates stunning garments that change color based on heat, wind pressure, or turbulence. The workshop will guide you through the precise chemical process for hand-dyeing your own color-changing feather. Work by TheUnseen is featured in the exhibition Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial. Ages 18 and up.
