The museum will offer a series of public programs and a range of online resources for students, teachers, design professionals and the general public to celebrate the important role that design plays in all aspects of daily life. Glass Lab at Governors Island GlassLab, the Corning Museum's live glass design program, features a team of expert glassmakers, who work alongside graphic designers included in Cooper-Hewitt's current exhibition, Graphic Design−Now in Production to create innovative pieces based on the designers' ideas, concepts, and sketches that reflect themes from the exhibition.
