Collection Spotlight: Whitney Warren


Cooper-Hewitt’s Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department collection holds a large group of drawings by Whitney Warren, including two albums of over 230 sketches made while he was living in France in the last decades of the nineteenth century.

Making of an Exhibition

Tonight! Thomas Geisler

Bill Moggridge Wins Britain’s 2010 Prince Philip Designers Prize


Bill Moggridge, director of Cooper-Hewitt, was awarded the 2010 Prince Philip Designers Prize Tuesday, Nov. 9. The U.K.’s most prestigious design prize is awarded annually to recognize a lifetime contribution to design.
