Fifteen participating designers chose objects from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum’s collections and National Design Library to decorate store windows for this off-site exhibition.
The stores participating are: Barney’s New York, Geoffrey Beene on the Plaza, Bloomingdale's, Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Sherle Wagner, Henri Bendel, Sony Style, Christian Dior, Saks Fifth Avenue, Paul Stewart, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s Housing Works, and Paul Smith.
This exhibition was conceived and organized by Barbara Livenstein, Curator for Special Projects.
