New York City teens are invited to learn about careers from over thirty professionals working in the fields of fashion, industrial, multi-media and graphic design as well as architecture. Design colleges from the country will be on hand to provide admissions and scholarship information. Meet Tim Gunn, members of the casts of Project Runway and Top Design, and designers from IDEO, MSNBC, MTV and many more.

Tim Gunn
Tim Gunn is the Chief Creative Officer at Liz Claiborne Inc. For more than two decades he has served as Dean, Director of Admissions, and Chair of the Department of Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design. He is the co-host of Project Runway and the host of Guide to Style.
Carol Gretter, AIA
Carol Gretter is an architect at the design firm, Dennis Wedlick Architect, LLC. She is currently designing an environmentally-friendly residential compound in New York that relies on alternative energy sources.
Victoria Hagan
Victoria Hagan has been awarded top design honors, including Architectural Digest's "Top 100," New York Magazine's "Hottest Interior Designers," and was inducted into the 2004 Interior Design Hall of Fame.
Kevin Kennon
Kevin Kennon is the founder of Kevin Kennon Architect. His work has been exhibited in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
Michael Kovac
Michael Kovac is the principal and founder of Los Angeles-based architecture firm Kovac Associates. He has worked with a number of entertainment industry influencers and collaborated with celebrated designers.
Thomas R. Krizmanic, AIA
Thomas Krizmanic is principal at the New York office for STUDIOS Architecture. Some of his recent work includes projects for MTV, Gucci Group, E*Trade Financial, Nokia, and Bloomberg's NYC headquarters.
Sara Schuster
Sara Schuster is a LEED-accredited designer for STUDIOS architecture, an international architectural firm located in SoHo. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s School of Architecture.
William Sofield
William Sofield established Sofield Studios in 1989 with a diverse focus ranging from residential and garden design, to retail and hospitality. He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Architecture and Urban Planning.
Alexis Bittar
Alexis Bittar’s jewelry collections are regularly featured in W, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Italian Vogue. His clientele includes Madonna, Cameron Díaz, and Naomi Watts. He won the Accessories Council’s “Rising Star” award in 2004.
Juan Castillo
Juan Castillo is a lead designer for Perry Ellis and Michelin Footwear, where he develops men’s casual and athletic shoes, and boots. He is Pratt graduate with a BA in industrial design.
Devi Kroell
Devi Kroell launched her handbag line in 2004. In 2006, she won the prestigious Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design. Her designs are available at many retail stores, including Target.

Liz Lange, founder and president of Liz Lange Maternity, has revolutionized maternity style and comfort with her high-end fashion collection, activewear line for Nike, and her exclusive Target collection.
Isaac Mizrahi
Isaac Mizrahi, American fashion designer and talk show host, is widely famous for his television program Isaac as well as the trendy pieces he designs for Target’s Design for All clothing line.
Susanna Moyer
Susanna Moyer is a graduate of Parsons The New School For Design and currently designs for the Sigrid Olsen label. She has worked under Liz Lange, Christian Dior, and Ellen Tracey.
David Rodríguez
David Rodríguez's award-winning designs have been featured in Elle, Harpers Bazaar and W, as well as worn by celebrities including Kirsten Dunst, Jodie Foster, Carrie Underwood, and Eva Longoria.
Cynthia Rowley
Cynthia Rowley, graduate of the School of Art Institute of Chicago, designs women's, men's, and children's wear, including shoes, eyewear, jewelry, handbags, dishes, small leather goods, and a signature fragrance.
Behnaz Sarafpour
Prior to launching her own label in 2001, Behnaz Sarafpour worked at Anne Klein under Richard Tyler and Narciso Rodriguez. After graduating from Parsons The New School For Design, she worked for Isaac Mizrahi and was later named the head designer of the Barney’s New York private collection.
Sue Stemp
English fashion designer Sue Stemp's line reflects her personal style of feminine silhouettes and tailored sportswear with a glamorous-yet-relaxed air. Her designs are worn by Chloë Sevigny and Cameron Diaz.
Deborah Adler
Deborah Adler is a senior designer at Milton Glaser Inc. Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, Glamour, the Museum of Modern Art, and the School of Visual Arts.
Joy Andrews Guerra
Joy Andrews Guerra is a user experience lead at Avenue A | Razorfish with seven years of experience in information architecture, interaction design, consumer education, and functional analysis.
Rafael Esquer
Rafael Esquer runs Alfalfa Studio in NYC, with clients including The New York Times Magazine, Nike, Björk, AIGA, Target, Scholastic, and MTV. The Library of Congress poster collection contains some of his work.
Vince Diga
Vince Diga is Senior Art Director at MSNBC and a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with a concentration in fine art. He produces design and illustration for print, broadcast, and the Web.

Dror Benshetrit
In 2002, Dror Benshetrit founded Studio Dror, a New York based multidisciplinary design company specializing in product design, which has since received considerable praise and awards from the design community.
Eric Chan
Eric Chan is president of ECCO Design in New York. His work has been showcased in exhibitions at The Museum of Modern Art, Cooper-Hewitt’s 2000 National Design Triennial, and the Design Museum London.
Brian Chui
Brian Chui is a designer for the New York-based design consultancy Smart Design. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in industrial design and has worked as a graphic designer in Hong Kong.
Michael Chung
Michael is a senior designer and program manager in IDEO’s New York studio. He has produced award-winning work for for clients such as Intel, HP, Syliss, Handspring, Motorola, and Samsung.
Mark Goetz
Mark Goetz has designed more than seventy chairs and products used in locations such as President Clinton’s Harlem Office and Harvard University. Goetz founded TZ Design, and is a full-time professor at Pratt.
Sunmee Kim
Sunmee lived in South Korea, New Zealand, and Canada before joining the Design Innovation group at Motorola Inc. as a design researcher. She studied industrial design at Carleton University in Ottawa.
Jeff Miller
Jeff Miller heads his own product and furniture design studio, innovating for high-profile international companies such as Baleria Italia and Cuisinart. Miller studied industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University.
Lauren Serota
Lauren Serota is the senior recruiter at Yeh IDeology, a culture-centric design recruitment firm. She has a varied background in visual design, trend researching, and industrial design recruitment and strategy.
Angela Yeh
Angela Yeh founded Yeh IDeology after ten years of recruiting for Industrial Design. Previously, she was an industrial designer following her completion of the Masters Program at Pratt Institute.
