Second Story Interactive Studios creates informative and entertaining interactive experiences, including media-rich storytelling presentations, online collections, interpretive installations, and database-driven applications. Based in Portland, Oregon, the Second Story team of creative artists, producers, writers, animators, and programmers has developed over sixty award-winning projects since its founding in 1994, and continues to set new standards for interactive design. The studio takes pride in providing intuitive access to archives, artifacts, and information, and in exploring new ways to combine technology, design, and media into compelling storytelling experiences. The studio has collaborated with many of the world's outstanding museums, media, and cultural institutions on a variety of subjects, including the arts, geography, history, music, natural history, politics, science, and technology.
