These internships, which honor the memory of Peter A. Krueger, who was an intern at Cooper-Hewitt, provide a stipend of $2,500 for the 10-week period. Housing is not provided. Approximately 10 Krueger Internships are available each summer.

The National Design Awards intern works with the National Design Awards Manager for twenty hours each week for a period of ten months beginning January 15 of each year and assists with all phases of the awards. These include promotion and outreach, the nomination process, preparation for the jury meeting, follow up with nominees and winners, announcement of the winners, and the awards ceremony. This internship provides a stipend of $10,000 and is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
