Interns are teamed with staff mentors and work on projects like Summer Design Institute, exhibition research, grant writing, and collections cataloguing. The internship program encourages promising students of art history, architectural history, museum studies, museum education, and design to explore museum careers.
This program acquaints participants with the programs, policies, procedures, and operations of Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and of museums in general.
